Who we are & eligibility

Le Hunter Co. is a bakery operating in Northern California, offering pickup in San Francisco, Alameda, and Davis, and local delivery in San Francisco. You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent/guardian's consent) and able to enter into a contract to place an order.

Your account

To order, you create an account using email and password or Google sign-in. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

Products, pricing & availability

We make every effort to describe and price our products accurately. Items are handmade and made in limited quantities, so availability can change and items may sell out. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. If we discover an error in a price or description affecting your order, we may cancel the order and refund you.

Allergens & food safety

Our products are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including wheat/gluten, eggs, dairy/milk, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and sesame. We cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of these allergens, even if not listed as an ingredient. If you have a food allergy or sensitivity, please review the product information carefully and contact us before ordering. You order at your own discretion regarding allergens.

Orders & acceptance

When you place an order and complete payment, you're making an offer to purchase. Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds and you receive an order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable, there's a pricing error, or we're unable to fulfill the requested date or location — and we'll refund any payment in that case.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your chosen payment method for the full order total. We don't store your full card details. Your order is only confirmed and prepared once payment is successfully captured.

Pickup & delivery

At checkout you choose pickup (San Francisco, Alameda, or Davis) or local delivery (San Francisco only), along with a requested date. Requested dates must be today or later. Pickup and delivery windows depend on our schedule, and we'll communicate timing by email. For pickup, please collect your order during the arranged window. For delivery, please provide an accurate address and ensure someone is available to receive the order.

Cancellations & refunds

Because our products are freshly made and perishable, our cancellation and refund terms are as follows:

• If you need to cancel or change an order, contact us as soon as possible. If we haven't yet started preparing your order, we'll cancel it and refund you in full.
• Once preparation has begun, orders generally can't be cancelled or refunded.
• If we cancel an order for any reason, you'll receive a full refund to your original payment method.
• If something is wrong with your order, contact us within 24 hours with details (and a photo if relevant) and we'll make it right — a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Refunds are issued through Stripe to your original payment method.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, scrape it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. You agree to provide accurate information when ordering.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including our name, logo, text, photography, recipes, and design — are owned by Le Hunter Co. and protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our permission.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
